1. Don't hit the doctor in the head with the C-arm. That never turns out good.

2. If you know that you are moving laterally turn the wheels so that they move parallel to the patient. It makes it easier to orient yourself.

3. Always try to be as lateral as possible. Make sure you remain perpendicular to the part.

4. Act like you belong there. Show confidence in yourself and the do the best you can. Don't let the environment intimidate you. You have a role to perform as does everyone in the room.

5. Make sure you can orient yourself right to left depending on patient position. You should be able to tell which flips you must make just by looking at the patient. It takes the guesswork out.
